Hell of a day I tell you. I was just sleeping(I went to bed around midnight-ish) and around 3 the fire alarm went off. After 20 minutes, the fire department turns off the alarm, 10 minutes after that they leave. I figure "Well, my Ipod is about dead, so I should probably charge it before so I have music for when I go to my college courses tomorrow."

Simple enough. . . . .

I plug my ipod into the charger and naturally, plug the charger into the wall. The VERY instant that happened, the damned charger explodes into several pieces(still in my hand). No cuts, but there was minor 1st degree burn from the electrical current, a bright flash, and the immediate sound of the fire alarm going off again.

fortunately there was no fire, and it was awesome to see it happen, but now I'm down a charger and still had no music for the day.
